Elkome provided a mobile app to Tiketti Oy for checking tickets and access control. The new app was wanted to work on modern Android based devices. The coding of the app was successfully finished in the spring just before the busy festival season.

Tiketti wanted to replace its old Widows Mobile based ticket software with a new Android app. Android is familiar to most of the users and for this reason the devices are i.e. easy to attach to the event organizer's network. The selection of Android based devices is wide and high quality options can also be found from a cheaper price range.

Ticket and rule changes to readers in real time

Tiketti's ticket sale system is connected to access control and the sold tickets are automatically moved to there. You can set different rule to for example define if one ticket can only be used once or once in a day. All ticket and rule changes are updated to the ticket readers in real time.

Ticket inspection ensured in offline mode as well

Already registered tickets are updated to the report in access control. If a device disconnects from the network in the middle of ticket inspection, you can still continue. Tickets read in offline mode will be automatically updated once the connection is reestablished.

A successful implementation before the festival season

Elkome delivered the new software to Tiketti in the spring just before the busy festival season. "Even though the schedule was really busy and tight, we managed to do it. The communication with Elkome was good and we were always up to date with the progression of the work. Most importantly, the final product was just what we had designed", says Olli Kataikko from Tiketti Oy.
