    Condition Monitoring and Protection

    The safety and high usability of production machines require regular condition measurements. Elkome provides sensors and measurement systems for monitoring conditions and protecting running machines.

    Automatic machine protection systems

    Industrial turbines, generators and large motors are usually equipped with automatic machine protection systems. The purpose of the protection is to prevent damage to the machines and the surrounding area as well as injuries. The multi-channel automatic protection system can monitor dozens of different machines across the whole factory with just one system.

    Monitoring individual devices

    We provide measurement and protection systems with 1-4 channels for monitoring smaller machines and devices. The protection is based on continuous vibration monitoring and temperature measurements. You can use this for blowers, compressors and electric motors. In case of danger, for example when the bearing is damaged, the system automatically stops the machine. The system fulfills the requirements of the ISO10816 standard.

    Sensors for condition monitoring

    Acceleration, velocity and displacement sensors are typically used to monitor bearing vibration, axle vibration, displacement and bending in protection systems. Our sensors are compatible with BK Vibron, Siemens and Bently Nevada's protection systems. Our product selection also include ATEX approved sensors for explosive atmospheres.
