Elkome’s video wall system

Elkome’s video wall system is delivered to the customer on a turnkey principle. The system includes video wall displays, mounting brackets and a video wall server installed and configured for you. The system typically consists of 6-12 thin-edged screens. In selecting the screens, special attention is paid to 24/7 use and a wide viewing angel of almost 180°. For installation, suitable mounting accessories and racks are designed for the system.

Footage from multiple sources

Footage can be “captured” to the video wall from virtually any analog or digital sources at FullHD or 4k resolution. For information security reasons, the video wall system operates independently and does not need to be connected to the factory’s automation system. In this way, the video wall can be used to play content safely from other information systems or the Internet. The video wall server defines what content is displayed on the video wall and where it is displayed. With Elkome’s solution, it’s easy and quick to switch between ready-made screenshots and settings for different users’ preferences and needs.

ANDRITZ can transmit the desired screens from the client’s control system to its own video wall located in Kotka. In this way, ANDRITZ can provide 24/7 remote assistance services and ensure the efficient operation of their customers. In a problem situation, remote assistance can have the same view of the operations in the factory as is in the local control room and can make changes to the system and guidance to the process.
