FENTEC Oy develops and implements solutions based on RFID technology for self-service sales and automatic fleet tracking. As a long-term partner, Elkome has supplied FENTEC with various components for the production of self-service points.

Smart solutions for self-service sales 

The innovative FENTEC 24/7 Solution enables sales, rental and lending services with automatic self-service points placed at customer locations, which include e.g. smart cabinets, containers and reading rooms. The always available on-site service at the customer's premises offers the easiest customer experience, boosting sales and customer loyalty. 

Improves operations and customer satisfaction 

With the FENTEC 24/7 Solution, the customer can easily and quickly access the products they need from a nearby smart cabinet or container. The system identifies the customer and transactions using RFID tags. When the customer has chosen the products they want and closes the cabinet, the system automatically inventories the contents of the cabinet and transmits the information about the removed products to the customer's information systems. This enables the automation of invoicing and replenishment orders. 

Support in product selection and in certification process 

Elkome supplies FENTEC with various electronic components for the manufacture of self-service points. In the selection of products, special attention has been paid to cost-effectiveness and delivery reliability.
