Secure remote access to production equipment and systems

Secomea enables secure remote access to devices and systems in a closed factory network. Secomea is not only a router device for establishing remote connections, but an entire system for the centralized management of remote destinations and remote users.

The core of the system is the GateManager management portal, where the allowed connections to the target systems are defined at the protocol and device level. The key feature is access control for both individuals and groups. The system stores information about all established remote connections - Who, where, how and when?

In comparison to traditional VPN connections and other remote access solutions, Secomea stands out as a highly versatile and secure system. Remote connections are established through Agents, which determine the access method to authorized devices.

Collecting data from automation systems to IoT cloud services

Secomea not only ensures secure remote access but also facilitates IoT data collection from production machines and devices. The SiteManager router gathers data from automation systems and various devices such as Modbus, Siemens S7, Rockwell CIP, Ethernet/IP, Rest/http, and OPC UA, and then seamlessly transmits it to IoT cloud services like Azure, AWS, Cumulocity IoT, and EcoStruxure Machine Advisor.

The Data Collection Cloud simplifies data storage and visualization within the Secomea system, while the Secomea LogTunnel allows for the easy creation of fixed connections using the Drag'n'Drop method.

Components of the Secomea Solution

Secomea LinkManager

LinkManager is a remote access software that can be installed on the remote user's workstation or mobile device. Through LinkManager, users can securely connect to authorized devices, with rights tailored to each user based on device and connection preferences. User authentication is ensured through a user-specific certificate file and password for added security.

Secomea GateManager

GateManager serves as a comprehensive platform for setting up and maintaining remote connections. Within GateManager, all remote targets are conveniently centralized, and remote users can be easily created and managed. Additionally, the portal keeps a detailed record of established connections and contact methods. GateManager offers the flexibility of being utilized as a secure cloud service or being installed on the customer's own server, providing peace of mind and convenience.

Secomea SiteManager

SiteManager serves as a router device designed for installation at remote destinations, enabling remote access through a 4G mobile network or fixed Internet connection. The Agents configured within SiteManager specify the target device and connection method for remote access. By utilizing agents, only designated devices can be accessed remotely, ensuring that the entire factory network remains secure from unauthorized users.
